In 2013, Busy Bees was founded on the principles that learning should continue after the final bell rings. For this reason, a program was developed that addresses homework, enrichment and S.T.E.M. activities. These core values also translate into additional quality time for parents and children at home.
Parents can rest easy knowing their children are in a safe and fun environment until they finish with work and pick them up. Children have time to finish homework and enjoy time with friends. Best of all, the children are never transferred off of school grounds.
Busy Bees has truly set the standard for childcare.

Meet the Team
The founders of Busy Bees, being parents and having children in different after-school care, decided that the quality of care their children experienced was substandard. With the belief that parents should demand more from their child-care providers, they developed a program that addresses the needs of the students and their families
Robert has been involved with childcare for over 10 years. He has held positions from site director to area manager. Today he is proud to serve as regional operations director for Busy Bees. Robert has 3 children and has used their experiences with after-school care to build a program at Busy Bees that stands out from the normal. Robert is a strong believer that learning should never end, and this has translated into the foundation for the daily operations of Busy Bees.
André has been working with children in various capacities for over 30 years. His background includes that of being a Special Education classroom instructor to executive director of YMCA. He has spent the last 3 years serving as Operations Director for Busy Bees. His unique approach to child care and communicating with children makes everyone feel comfortable and at ease. He puts families and children first.
Teresa has almost 20 years in childcare. She came to Busy Bees from her previous job of 15 years as a counselor for the Reno County Youth Facility. She has served as Accounting Director for the past 4 years. She ensures children have a secure place in our program by working with parents to enroll their children efficiently. Teresa also works with parents with compliance with their Child Care Flexible Spending accounts. We are glad to have her attention to detail in our accounting department.
Busy Bees has been beneficial to TJ both academically and socially. The biggest benefit, in my opinion, is homework. TJ is more successful turning in his homework when it had been completed in Busy Bees. The one year that TJ was not in Busy Bees was his worst year in turned in assignments. He also enjoys playing with his friends and often complains when we pick him up early. TJ always liked his Busy Bees teachers and we as parents know he is safe.
